Dengue Fever Test in Phuket

Fever in Phuket? Dengue is always on the list. Our rapid NS1 antigen test plus platelet count gives you an answer within the hour — walk in at any branch, 24/7.

What’s Included

  • NS1 rapid antigen test (most accurate days 1–5 of fever)
  • Complete blood count with platelet monitoring
  • Doctor assessment and treatment plan
  • IV fluids in clinic when needed
  • Immediate hospital referral for warning signs

When to See a Doctor

Dengue typically causes sudden high fever, severe headache, pain behind the eyes, and intense muscle and joint aches. The NS1 test is most reliable in the first five days of fever — so test early rather than waiting it out.

Important: if you might have dengue, avoid ibuprofen and aspirin (they increase bleeding risk) — paracetamol only until you are assessed. Seek urgent care for abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, bleeding gums or black stools.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I get tested?

As soon as fever starts. NS1 works best days 1–5; after that we use antibody tests and blood counts instead.

What if the test is positive?

Most dengue is managed with fluids, rest, paracetamol and daily platelet checks — which we do in clinic. Warning signs mean hospital care, and we arrange that referral immediately.
