When to See a Doctor
Road rash looks superficial but is effectively a burn full of road debris — infection risk in this climate is high, and scarring is much worse when cleaning is delayed. Come in the same day, even for “minor” grazes.
Head injury, loss of consciousness (even briefly), chest or abdominal pain, or an obviously deformed limb mean hospital, not clinic — call us and we will direct you to the right emergency department and inform them you are coming.
